We are supporting our Read Aloud, Milkweed, with contextual information about the treatment of Jewish children, with age and grade appropriate information from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington.
We watched a video on the lives and treatment of Jewish children in Germany during WWII , then discussed, reflected, and wrote or drew our reactions.
